How to change the default font in Word 2007
If you find the default font in Word 2007 too small, here’s how to change it.
- In a blank Word document press CTRL+D, to open the font dialogue box
- The cursor will be in the font field, use the up and down arrows to select a font, or type in its name, in this case we’ll use Arial.
- Press TAB to move into the font style field, choose between regular, bold or bold italic, in this case we’ll leave this as regular.
- Press TAB to move into the font size field, use the up and down arrows to select a font size, or type in a number, in this case we’ll use 14.
- Press ALT+D, to press the Default button. A message box will be displayed with the following message “You are about to change the default font to Arial, 14pt. Do you want this change to affect all new documents based on the normal template“ Press Y, to select Yes.
- Now every document you create in Word will use Arial, 14pt.
