This list of Keyboard Short cuts will help you quickly find your way around a Microsoft Word document.
- Move Left One Character – Left Arrow
- Move Right One Character – Right Arrow
- Move Left One Word – CTRL+Left Arrow
- Move Right One Word – CTRL+Right Arrow
- Move Up One Line – Up Arrow
- Move Down One Line – Down Arrow
- Move Up One Paragraph – CTRL+Up Arrow
- Move Down One Paragraph – CTRL+Down Arrow
- Move to the start of the line – Home
- Move to the end of the line – End
- Move to the start of the document - CTRL+Home
- Move to the end of the document – CTRL+End
- Move to the top of the current page – CTRL+Page Up
- Move to the top of the next page – CTRL+Page Down
- Move to the top of the Window – ALT+CTRL+Page Up
- Move to the bottom of the Window – ALT+CTRL+Page Down
- Scroll up one screen - Page Up
- Scroll Down one screen – Page Down
- Goto a specific element (ie page, line number, comment) – CTRL+G
- Return to location you were working when the document was closed - SHIFT+F5 (only works when you first open a document)
- Go to the last place you edited – SHIFT+F5
