Readability – Cutting through the clutter

How many times have you struggled to read an article on a website, because of all the clutter around it. Or maybe the site uses a small font you can’t resize or a horrible colour scheme.

Readability is a free browser plug-in that strips out all the clutter and gives you a nice clean screen to read your article from.  On the Readability website you choose a style for your text, including white text on a dark grey background, margin size, and font size.  Then right click on the Readability button and choose Bookmark this Link (firefox) or Add to Favourites (Internet Explorer).

When you’re reading an article, choose readability from your bookmarks/favourites menu and readability will strip out all the extraneous content, and display the article using your chosen settings.
